Is this going to be dirt or cement? What are the classes? Who is the person to interview for a story? Will their be a meet and greet with racers past and present? Who’s making the track? Is their rise money and awards?
Dan,
We will be racing on concrete – and will probably have coke syrup but used very lightly. The classes will be Pro Twins, Pro Singles, Pro Hooligan, Amateur Hooligan, Vintage, Open Amateur and Mad Dog. We will racing only 4-strokes this first year to keep the smoke at a minimum. Neil Ryan is the promoter of the event and would be a great interview. He’s very excited about flat track and is looking forward to meeting all the racers. The details of when there will be a ‘meet and greet’ with past and present racers are forthcoming. There will be prize money and those details can be seen under the ‘Racers’ selection at the top of the website. We’re looking forward to trying to bring the ‘Magic’ of the Armory days back to Minnesota. Looking forward to seeing everyone there on Friday, March 23, 2018 !!
Hey Dan! Denny Perrier here this should be a great time getting to smell some bean oil indoors👍
How big of cc can we run for amateurs??
Concrete Indoors are a wake up call for dirt races. Just reading how Hook explained everything makes me feel like all I shall see is his rear wheel. Hi Pete, you got a second at the Springfield, Ohio Junior Race and this showed good speed. The short track National in St. Louis could gone better, but racing bikes is for fun, right??
